Coverage pricing rule - Upload Zones

Does the coverage pricing rule not work with upload zones. I have followed all instructions for creating the pricing rule based on coverage however when I upload an image to the designer and resize etc it does not acknowledge additional pricing.

Here are some screenshots to show the settings...

Shows base price of £9.00

Top right price has not changed despite image uploaded to upload zone

Doesn't update price in basket either

Here are the settings in pricing rules

I am using the basic storefront template and other pricing rules are working fine when based on text and image resizing and they dynamically update the price. The coverage pricing rule doesn't seem to work. Can someone advise why this may be the case or offer a solution?

  • I've looked into this further and am now of the conclusion the coverage pricing rule is broken.

I have installed a fresh install of wordpress, woocomerce and FPD. No other plugins installed. I am using the basic storefront template and created one product using the default FPD "Men Standard" t-shirt as per the demo for pricing rules on this site. I haven't created any upload zones and am going with the default printing box as per the demo product and it still does not recognise the logic for coverage.

This is the logic, I have set it under individual product settings in woocommerce single product page with a base price of £10.00

Now when I load the actual product on the front end - FPD has added an additional £9 to the overall price making it £19.00 before I have even added any image to the product in designer. When i change the logic on coverage from "Less than or equal" to "Less than"  it returns to £10, but when I add an image the logic still doesn't work and the price remains at £10 regardless.

I'm at a loss as to why this is happening and can only conclude it is a bug.
