Using One setup for multiple products

Hi there

I wonder if you can help. I am hoping to use FPD for a client's website that makes signs. They make wooden signs. metal, painted, etc.

I want to create each sign type and material as products, BUT, each builder for each product would be the same. Just a plain canvas in which they can choose the size, and add some text and content (custom fonts also) to create the designed output they want. 

We literally want to control this in one place, and have it apply to each product basically.

Is this something easily achieved in FPD, and if so, how would you recommend we do it please?
