Where am doing wrong? A product like the demo of variable phone cases

I created a variable product in woocommerce. 2 variations and assigned two different fpd products for each variation on wooommerce product page inside variations' settings.

I am able to replace the product on scene by choosing the variation. No problem.

Is the a way to replace products without loosing the design made by the customer?
