new elements/layers

Hello,

I'd like to achieve 3 things and have explored everywhere but with no luck. 

1) How do I make newly added elements/layers like texts and images come on top of the previous texts and images. What I get now is new text or image added stay below the previously added ones

2) How do I make new images replace previously added ones like in this example

3) How do I create shapes in advanced editing for masking. I don't have the shapes I find in your demo on my own page.
