Hello, have a slight issue trying to find a way around.
We have a product customer that allows you to place text on an item. The problem is that if we have a white item, the text looks okay, because it's defaulted to black. But if we have a black colored item, when the customizer comes up and you add text, it's also defaulted to black which makes it hard to see by default without switching it to a white or lighter color.
Do we have the ability to preset a color for the text? or how we can go about change things

You can set the custom text default colour on a per product basis in the Individual Product Settings:

was there a solution to this? currently having same issue. I would like to change my default text color at different times.
