I’m using MSPCwith FPD and can’t quite work out of what I need is possible.
Using a woocommerce variation of “Frame” with attributes of Black, White, No Frame. - images for Black and White Frames and no image for no frame.
However, the images are layered on top of one another, so when No Frame is chosen, black or white frame images are still in place.

you can simply upload a transparent png as image for "no frame" so the image will be replaced and nothing will be visible.
