Hello,
Is there a way I can get the design as an html5 output to be used as an email template.
This doesn't have to be a plugin feature. It could be a development/coding solution too.

Do you want the image to be displayed in the mail directly? If so, it is not possible yet. Please open a customization request for your issue.
