Maybe this is a stupid question with an obvious answer I've somehow missed, but how do you lose the background grid on the product designer UI? I don't want to see it.

go to woocommerce products -> click on your product -> go to individual product settings (right side) ->general -> background
There you can either upload a picture for the background or change it into any color.
