it still works like that. sorry this feature is currently not supported. If you would like to see it in a future update, please create a new idea in the "Feature Request" forum. The more people agree with you, that we should add the feature you are looking for, the more quickly we are going to implement it, thank you.
rotating the upload zone in the backend is not possible but there is a workaround. You can use an image with a transparent area in the middle as a mask and mark is as "stay on top" or use the function MASK directly (https://support.fancyproductdesigner.com/support/solutions/articles/13000035870-using-an-svg-as-mask-for-a-view)
