Future Updates: Leave settings same!

With the new update, all my locked layers checked to the new modification "locked" and unlocked the layers themselves. I had over 100 items with on average 5 layers to fix.. 500 layers i had to fix because update changed it.

In future, can old setting stay the same unless modified? or at least when adding new feature for global change on all items through settings or something
