If I set a specific product UI & Layout for the product at the product's page, the new layout loads on front end nicely, but at the admin page in the product builder I still see the old one (the default one). Really annoying because the old one has different cavnas size!!
Please correct!

the builder does not use ui layouts. You need to set the stage dimensions in the product settings (click the little cogwheeel in the product manager).
