"Check Communication" Errors

When checking the communication and you receive any error, we listed the most common errors and how to fix them.



401 - Sorry, you are not allowed to do that

  • Make sure you have entered a username and not your mail address as username in the page configuration.


403 - URI is not accessible

  • Possible solution: Go to Fancy Product Designer > General settings in your WordPress site and disable the default CORS header


403 - Sorry, you are not allowed to do that

  • Login credentials are not correct. See here which credentials you need to enter.
  • Fancy Product Designer REST API plugin is not installed
  • RewriteRule is missing in .htaccess. Read how to add it.


404 - No route was found matching the URL and request method


500 - The "HTTP_AUTHORIZATION" or "REDIRECT_HTTP_AUTHORIZATION" is missing in the global variable $_SERVER...
