Floating Dialog box inside right/left sidebar

Because the floating sometimes open and close after user click on a element, fixing the Floating Dialog box inside right/left sidebar of the website as an extra option will be perfect.

I think it should be a drop down menu.

This post is marked as "IMPLEMENTED" but I don't see that option available yet. The dialog box can be set to fixed left or right but placing it in a sidebar would be ideal for me.
