Options to changing Layouts without hide basic product mask

Layouts are great in that I can create several pre-made designs, but I can no longer combine them with products like Templates.

For example, I sell phone covers, so I have many products for specific models (iPhone 15, iPhone 16, Samsung galaxy A15...) and I would like to have pre-made designs for each of them. When I prepare them in layouts, when I select them, only the selected layout remains and not the mask of that model.
