Global Color Pallet

As an admin, I would like the option to set a global color pallet in Fancy Product Designer settings that will then be available colors on any layer, so that if I need to add a new color I don't have to go through every product and every layer to add the new color.

I thought this is what the "colors" field under default element options would do, but it does not do that.
