Does the SVG export not work for you either when the design contains curved text?
I can download the SVG, but I can't import it into Illustrator.

I tested it and saw that the exported SVG is imported and displayed correctly in INKSCAPE. However, when importing into Adobe Illustrator, an error message appears.
The error message says, "This SVG file is invalid."
The file also doesn't work in CorelDraw.
It's possible that the SVG was not generated correctly, and INKSCAPE is able to handle it.

Hello Markus Dangl,
We run into this issue like yours. It's because the current SVG use external image (image as URL). And it can't be import to Adobe Illustrator or some application.
You need to convert your images in the exported SVG to embedded image and then use them in Illustrator. Or you can use some process to convert the external images to embedded one before exporting.
Hope you can do it.
PS: Really hope the plugin can have the options to chose between external images and embedded images when exporting to SVG file.

I then have a problem when the user creates a curved text in the Designer.
As soon as a design contains a curved text, this downloaded SVG no longer works in Illustrator.
It can be opened in Inkscape. The curved text is not placed correctly, but at least it works.
Now I always open such a “broken” SVG with Inkscape, save it again and then import it into Illustrator to continue working with it.
But that can't be a permanent solution.
It might be possible to solve the problem by converting all text to curves when generating the SVG.
SVG that only contain “normal” text and are created with designs from the library do not cause any problems at all. These work perfectly.

Okay, how does this conversion work? I open the order in WordPress, click the button to view the product, and select Basic Export -> SVG.
