First of all you need to enable the elements, that you want to use in the Color Selection panel, in the Product Builder.
After that you need to choose the placement for the Color Selection panel either in the Individual Product Settings or in the global settings.
Important Notice
The options that start with "Inside" for the "Color Selection Placement" are only working for a single element with a color palette/list.
