This bug is in regards to the design sets and when you switch product view (i.e. front & back views). So if you clicked into crazy shapes and switch views it should stay inside that design set. The old customizer did this perfectly, but after we upgraded this is broken.
You will notice the current design category banner stays, but the available designs resets when it should remain inside your previously selected design set.

Yes this has changed, because of a new feature that needs to reset the designs when changing the view. The bug that the category title still remains will be fixed in the next update.
