In Fancy Designs > Edit Category Options, if I try to enable "Use another element as bounding box?" to "bounding_box" and save changes, it doesn't actually save, and when you go back it's still unchecked.

There is no known issue with this. Could you please open a ticket and send a link to the product page with the issue as well as some login credentials and a link to your wp-admin, so that I can take a look? Thanks!

Thanks this works for Stock Images but not Custom Uploaded Images, I've tried using another layer for bounding box for custom uploads with clipping and it still will not bring up the clipping area after the image has been placed on the canvas.

Please try without the _ and use a - instead (also for the element in the builder).
