Sorry, I did not have time recently to check on the community forum. FPD as such does not support stripes, no. You can use MSPC and FPD together though to get a similar functionality, see this demo as an example: http://fancyproductdesigner.com/product/sneaker-mspc/.
Alternatively you could also use FPD's design categories to upload and display the images of the striped bands (and replace the existing band in the designer).
